I feel lighter,
clear minded &
Over the past week i have taken to green drinks. Initially I steered clear of them because the taste was just too "green" for me. I would make them practically holding my nose to chug them down. Don't get me wrong, I love salads, deep green vegetables sauteed, baked, and even steamed but i didn't want to drink my earthy fibers. So, I decided to set on mission to find ways to drink my greens and actually enjoy them, and the truth is i do now. Its been just over a week that ive been creating, trial and error, smoothie recipes that not only do the body good, but also treat my taste buds kindly.
SO, each day this week i will share a green smoothie or juice recipe with you that is packed full of nutrients and super foods BUT also tastes delicious too- Trust me, if i got my kiddos to take it down the hatch, then i feel pretty confident that many you out there who were running from your greens liquid greens like i was, just might find a match made in heaven this week.
On a side note, I have been more creative this week. (brain fuel) I (along with my 3 kiddos) steered clear of the flu my husband has had all week (body strong) and Ive gotten up reaching for my blender rather than my coffee. (light & energetic) And that's saying something!
